The team of Peter David and Todd McFarlane continues in the 343rd issue of “The Incredible Hulk”!
In this issue, Betty Ross Banner finally reunites with Bruce Banner hiding the fact that she’s pregnant and wanting to confront both Bruce Banner and the Hulk.
Last time this happened, while hugging each other, Bruce turned to Gray Hulk right at sunset and ended up hurting Betty.
As Rick Jones and Clay want to help their dear friend, Betty wants to know if Bruce loves her and why he keeps staying his distance from her.
Meanwhile, The Leader who has returned is up to no good. And while The Leader’s focus in this issue is quite minimal, as with Rick and Clay, this issue is primarily about Betty and Bruce finally getting a chance to talk to each other about their relationship.
But Betty is willing to sacrifice everything in order to confront the Gray Hulk and see if she can reach Bruce within him and to tell him the truth that they are expecting a baby.
It’s actually a very good story as we get to see a brave Betty, instead of the weak, always crying Betty for once.
