When I was a kid, I always found Moondragon to be rather interesting.
For one, it was the first bald female character that I have ever saw in a comic book, but she happened to also be quite powerful as a telepath, as a master martial artist and more.
She happens to also be the daughter of Drax the Destroyer (her real parents were killed by Thanos and she was rescued by Thanos’ mother and raised and trained on Titan.
I’ve read that Dave Bautista who plays Drax the Destroyer in the “Guardians of the Galaxy” live action films would like to see Moondragon in the third film, but whether or not she shows up in a live action film, my memories of her was being bald and super powerful!
So, here I am with “Marvel Team Up” issue #40 and while it shows a team-up with Moondragon, realistically, it’s Moondragon, Scarlet Witch, Vision and Dr. Doom working together to take on the evil wizard known as the Dark Rider!
In the comic, while Moondragon is at the Avengers mansion, she is whisked away to the distant past where she sees the evil wizard, Dark Rider, absorbing the powers of Dr. Doom, Vision, Scarlet Witch and Spider-Man.
But as they were to be killed by the orders of the Dark Rider, Moondragon appears in time to blast him and giving Spider-Man the opportunity to wake up and free the others.
And as Dark Rider has beaten Spider-Man, Vision and Scarlet Witch together, while Moondragon is busy against Dark Rider, can Spider-man rescue Dr. Doom in order to tip the odds to their favor?
Another issue showcasing Moondragon’s awesome power but Spider-Man racing to save the innocents in Salem who were accused of being witches.
