There is no doubt that both Bruce Banner and the Grey Hulk have been battling it out in their heads.  Both headstrong and often are in a conflict, with Bruce feeling guilty that with his intelligence, all he did was create Gamma weapons which have been used by the government secretly and creating grotesque monsters.

Meanwhile, Bruce has a glimpse of some female alien, who has been killing people.

After the events of the last issue, the three (Banner, Clay Quartermaine and Rick Jones) have been traveling in a S.H.I.E.L.D vehicle and decided to eat at a diner, where they run into a mean, condescending brute.

Meanwhile, S.H.I.E.L.D. is trying to locate them, so they can carry out another attack.

But as Bruce wants to visit Betty at the hospital, they are attacked by the female alien.

The fight continues but this time, because of the evening, Banner has turned into the Grey Hulk and as she tries to carry on her kills, Grey Hulk keeps switching back and forth to Banner and himself.

Can Banner/Hulk defeat this killer alien?

And for the first time, Grey Hulk realizes that in order for his survival, Bruce Banner must also survive and enters a pact reluctantly for Clay and Rick Jones to protect Bruce from harm when he’s not

Overall, this story was more like a tame horror story within the world of the Hulk and those around banner.  I guess you can call it a filler story but it was a good one, featuring a killer alien who preys on miserable souls and she found the Hulk to be her liking because of him being unique.

But a fun story nonetheless.
