As the “Wizard: The Guide to Comics” magazine gained more and more followers, this latest issue features an interview with Bart Sears on his work on “Justice League: Europe” and an interview with Denny O’Niell about Batman.

Also, an interesting interview about the early Marvel films of that time including Stephen Tolkin’s work on “Captain America”, another article about Batman and John Byrne’s return to working on “X-Men”.

Also included is an interview with Fabian Nicieza about “X-Force” and an article on new comic book company, Valiant.

The issue also incorporated reviews from “GamePro” and the comic book, comic card and toy pricelist.

And this top 10 was very interesting as DC Comics took the #1 spot with “Robin: Joker’s Wild” and it’s interesting how they focused so much on the hologram cover.  Also, the first appearance of Valiant in the top 10 with “Magnus: Robot Fighter”.

Also, an article by Pat McCallum on the popularity of specialty covers.

But if anything, you have to give credit to “Wizard: The Guide to Comics” magazine, because it’s one thing that X-Men titles were popular but as people looked toward the magazine’s top 10 and seeing so many of the X-titles featured, they really help ignite the popularity of X-titles throughout the ’90s and the artists that were behind those titles.
