An issue that shows the group working as a team and putting their skills to good use against an alien force powered by Stark technology. But now it seems that there is another force even more deadlier than the Starks out there wanting to annihilate them. A solid, action-packed issue!

TITLE: Guardians of the Galaxy – Issue #4

YEAR: September 1990

COMPANY: Marvel Comics

Writer/Artist by Jim Valentino

INKER: Steve Montano

LETTERER: Jack Morelli

COLORIST: Evelyn Stein

EDITOR: Craig Anderson

The battle with the Starks continues and with the Guardians starship, Freedom Lady, having been destroyed by the Starks, Starhawk goes to work on finding another starship immediately.

And his call for help to fight the Starks is found when the universal protector Firelord arrives.

Starhawk will take care of the ship but he tells Firelord that he needs to help the Guardians of the Galaxy who are fighting the Starks on the planet below.

And as the crew fight the Starks, Taserface who has been disgraced, dishonored and is now nameless aims to fight for his fellow Starks and defeat the Guardians.

Despite beating Taserface before, now they must take on a Stark who is hellbent on fighting with everything he got, with all his power but despite Taserface’s newfound power, he may not be able to take on the protector of the universe, Firelord.

Overall, a solid story that features a lot of action, but also the group gaining a new honorary member but most of all, seeing Firelord in action!  Recommended!
