A solid issue by Chris Claremont and John Byrne, the issue really does a great job of showing the dysfunctional working relationship between Cyclops and Wolverine but also bringing back Sauron, who last appeared back in “X-Men” issue #59 and #60.  For the most part, a solid issue and I’m looking forward to reading issue #116!

The amazing Chris Claremont/John Byrne run continues with “The Uncanny X-Men”.

With the last issue, Karl Lykos drained Storm’s lifeforce in order to make himself Sauron.  And now, the Wolverine wants revenge for their fallen comrade.

As Wolverine goes into Berserker Rage, Scott tries to prevent him but Sauron uses his power to make the X-Men look like monsters which leads to Wolverine attacking his teammates.

But with Scott’s quick thinking, he’s able to get Banshee to attack Sauron and prevent Wolverine from attacking.

As Wolverine comes to, he wants to get his revenge on Lykos, but before he can, Ka-Zar stops him.

We eventually learn that the Savage Land is going through major problems as the witch Zaladane awakened Garokk and Garokk is trying to eliminate everyone in the Savage Land.  Thus Kazar, along with Lukos and other tribes have joined forces to fight Garokk. Will the X-Men join Kazar’s war?
