A fitting conclusion of this Kazar arc. From this arc, we learn more about Kazar’s past and his connection with the Plunderer but I found the series to be picking up steam as the stories are becoming to be much more readable, interesting but more than anything, darn right entertaining!

TITLE: Daredevil The Man Without Fear! vol. 1, issue #14

YEAR: March 1966

COMPANY: Marvel Comics

STORY: Stan Lee

LAYOUTS: Jack Kirby

ILLUSTRATOR: John Romita

LETTERING: Artie Simek

Matt Murdock (Daredevil) and Kazar have been blasted and are knocked out.  Meanwhile, a man with a trenchcoat comes towards them and steals the half of a medallion which Kazar had with him (a fragment of a dangerous rock which has the power to destroy and disintegrate metal), while his brother, the villain known as The Plunder had the other half.

As Matt awakes and pursues the mysterious person as Daredevil, Plunder learns of his butler, Feeper’s treachery, but the Plunder doesn’t know that the man with a trenchcoat is behind them, while aiming to kill the Plunder, Plunder manages to avoid getting hit and the bullet striking Feepers and killing him.

It doesn’t take long for the Plunder to defeat the man in a trenchcoat and stealing Kazar’s half of the medallion.

Plunder creates his own special costume and goes by “The Plunderer” and plans to take over military sites now that he has access to the mysterious rock and a specialized weapon.

Matt contacts Foggy and gives them a message to come to England immediately and while this is good news for Foggy and Karen Page, Foggy learns via Karen’s happiness that she liked Matt more than him.  But Matt has them going to England to defend Kazar who was captured by police and is now going to trial.

And as the Plunderer and his men are able to defeat the military soldiers, Daredevil knows that he must act quickly and stop the Plunderer and find out the secret to defeating him!

Overall, a fitting conclusion of this Kazar arc. From this arc, we learn more about Kazar’s past and his connection with the Plunderer but I found the series to be picking up steam as the stories are becoming to be much more readable, interesting but more than anything, darn right entertaining!
