An issue that shows the group working as a team and putting their skills to good use against an alien force powered by Stark technology.  But now it seems that there is another force even more deadlier than the Starks out there wanting to annihilate them.  A solid, action-packed issue!

TITLE: Guardians of the Galaxy – Issue #3

YEAR: August 1990

COMPANY: Marvel Comics

During the battle against an alien race known as the Starks (who discovered Tony Starks technology and used it for their own means to the point of destroying their own world and now wanting to dominate others), Taserface has taken Nikki hostage forcing Martinex to freeze them, while Stark Fighters have blasted Aleta while she was trying to transform back to StarHawk.

With issue #3, to the Guardians surprise, the blast has separated Aleta and Starhawk into two.

While Aleta lies unconscious, Starhawk awakens and instead of helping his teammates, he accelerates and flies away.

Meanwhile, Yondu awakes to find a Coursan alien about to kill him, but the man is unable to.  The man explains that someone with blue skin killed his brother and he wanted revenge but couldn’t do it.

From the distance, the Force observes the fight between the Starks and the Guardians, as they are intent in trying to get Captain America’s shield.

Meanwhile, as the Guardians are in their space ship after the battle, as Starhawk is to return back, he sees the ship being blasted by a huge spacecraft.  Who is responsible?

Overall, an issue that shows the group working as a team and putting their skills to good use against an alien force powered by Stark technology.  But now it seems that there is another force even more deadlier than the Starks out there wanting to annihilate them.  A solid, action-packed issue!
