Gotham is in disarray and someone known as Red Hood One is killing off crime bosses and pretty much gaining control of high-tech weaponry from Bruce Wayne’s company.

Bruce has managed to infiltrate the circle disguised as Oswald Cobblepot (Penguin) and manages to obtain DNA samples of Red Hood One.

With Bruce Wayne considered as AOL, Alfred confronts Bruce about his cowardice and that his parents would be ashamed that Bruce has not returned home publicly and he hasn’t done a thing about the Red Hood Gang stealing Wayne Industries weapons.  And continuing to pretend that he’s dead.

As Bruce goes to visit his uncle and the museum, to his shock, his Uncle Philip has outed him to the media as being alive.

And the genius behind this outing, his uncle’s advisor, Edward Nygma (known to many of us as The Riddler).

And with Bruce Wayne outed, the Red Hood Gang are now planning to make sure he’s dead.

Overall, “Batman (The New 52!)” issue #22 was OK. It was good to establish the Red Hood Gang as cold and calculating antagonists but also trying to answer questions of when Bruce will finally make himself known to the public that he is very much alive.

But for the most part, it was an OK issue.

Also, included is a short story, “Bruce Wayne in That One Time” showcasing Bruce Wayne in the past, learning from the best inventor in the world, Sergei Alexandrov.
