As Amadeus Cho’s blood was used to create a new behemoth, a half Hulk and half Wolverine combined with others who were in the Mutant X experiment, the healing factor and abilities of Wolverine, Sabretooth, Domino, Warpath and Lady Deathstrike have been added to this Weapon H behemoth known as Hulkverine.
And now the Hulkverine is loose and the five go after him.
With the help of the New Wolverine (formerly X-23), we learn that the experimented person was a former soldier and now the scientist in charge of the program, has Hulkverine around her finger.
As Logan wants to reason with him, Sabretooth just wants Hulkverine dead.
The fighting featured in this 11th issue is no doubt an exciting matchup but to also showcase Hulkverine’s killer side, especially since he was brainwashed by Doctor Alba and doing whatever she says.
But she is concerned with her new project because he is caring of humanity and now Doctor Alba wants Hulkverine to prove his worth by murdering innocent people.
Will he do it or will Old Man Logan and the others reach him in time?
An exciting issue due to the fight but also a conclusion for now, featuring Hulkverine. Fortunately, the storylines in “Weapon X” involving this new Hulk-like character was much better than the actual “Weapons of Mutant Destruction” issues.
But overall, a fun and exciting series and a cool way to end the story arc of Hulkverine for now!
