Christine as Grendel learned disturbing news when she snuck into the room of Tujiro.
What she found were eyeballs in canisters and one which she recognized as her son Anson’s eyes.
Suddenly Tujiro and his henchman have arrived and she goes on the offensive, trying to fight back but Tujiro is too strong and powerful.
She is thrown out of the window from the building’s balcony but fortunately she is able to grab on to her rope and escape.
She escapes and goes to the only person she knows in town, Brian (who is the stagehand for Tujiro’s kabuki troupe).
She tells Brian that she was mugged and he helps her recover at his place.
Desperate for revenge, that night she trails Tujiro’s henchman who goes to have sex with prostitute and immediately she sneaks from the shadows and sinks her double sword through his neck.
This now has police concerned, especially Argent.
But as Grendel tries to sneak into Tujiro’s place once again, she sees him throgh the window as he opens up a bag with another boy who is in a trance. He goes and bites him on the neck and sucks his blood and Grendel immediately knows now that Tujiro is a vampire.
Wow! What a change of events… Christine’s son is dead, her first stint as Grendel and she gets her ass kicked and then she comes right back and puts her weapon through Tujiro’s bodyguard’s neck and then to find out that Tujiro is a monster!
